OM NOM NOM

Almost always I carry food with me. I bring it with me to school, to the movies, to friend's houses, even to church. I am CONSTANTLY eating. Seriously. This is not a laughing matter. There might actually be something wrong with me. But I guess it just shows how gluttonous society has made us to be. I mean, it seemed as if everyone around the WORLD was starving a few centuries ago. Now, we have a GIANT surplus, including me.

The type of food I usually carry with me is a different story. I always have a granola bar. I am addicted to those things. Then, there's the PB&J sandwich. NOMS. And we can't forget about the fruit snacks now can we? I guess I can say that I am a pretty healthy person. I don't eat twice my weight in junk food. I <3 VEGGIES. Yes, that is a true story. And I am not the only one in the world who thinks that. There are plenty of people out there like me. Many people seem to be eating more, but eating more healthily. Yes, I do realize that we are the fattest country in the world, but that does not mean that every single person in the United States is stuffing his or her face with twinkies all day. ESPECIALLY not Catarina Massa. I hate twinkies.

I'm jammin' all day fer day

My iPod is the embodiment of my soul. It has everything from the Beach Boys, to Miley Cyrus, to Owl City, to Bon Jovi, and more. I cannot imagine living without my iPod.

Music has definitely progressed throughout the centuries. It has been transformed, compacted, and remixed. Styles are changing everyday, and the iPod just makes it a bit easier to keep up with the new trends in the music world. This little machine makes entertainment so much more convenient. With just the click of a button, I can jam out to my favorite tunes.

Not only has music trasformed over the years, but the iPod itself has also become different. The first iPod ever only held about two, maybe three hundred songs, and that was it. Then, as the years went by, music videos became part of the equation, as did podcasts, cameras, and photos. There's the iTouch and the iPhone, too. It seems as if people have become increasingly needy. In the old days, all you needed was a job, some food, and shelter. But now, everyone has to have the latest trends and styles. TV's, radios, cars, mansions. Whatever happened to the simple necessities?

The iPod has definitely changed my way of life. I remember carrying around my CD player with my handy-dandy CD's on the side. I loved that CD player, but I also hated it with a burning passion because I had to be a statue while using it. I could not move it or else the CD would skip and interrupt my jam session. With the iPod, I don't have to worry about that anymore. I can go jogging and listen to music at the same time without having to deal with annoying interruptions. In fact, I think I excercise more now that I can listen to music. It makes it so much easier to push through the lactic acid building up in my legs.
